Cornell University Cooperative Enterprise Program

Staff

The focus of the Cornell University Cooperative Enterprise Program is to enhance the performance of existing cooperative businesses and facilitate the development of emerging cooperative enterprise through teaching, research, and outreach focused towards boards of directors of cooperatives, senior management, strategic planning, and marketing.  The program supports training and research for leaders of cooperative business enterprises, and assists new, emerging cooperatives as well as groups of people with the desire to work together collaboratively.

The Cooperative Enterprise Program works in collaboration with Cornell Cooperative Extension along with region-based Extension teams, and county-based Extension organizations to support initiatives to enhance economic development that strengthens rural communities.

The Program also works with the Northeast Cooperative Council to assist with the organization’s annual Leaders Forum and biennial Future Cooperative Leaders Conference.  Please contact us for more information.
